In exchange for leading a free, 20-minute mediation session, Bond asked that attendees donate on behalf of the Coalition for the Homeless. In the aftermath of the Australian Bushfires, Penny wanted to help save the animals whose habitats were destroyed by the devastating fires. She and a crew of volunteers surveyed the damage in their community and worked with animal care units to assess the need. Eleven months later, they have built over 600 possum and kookaburra boxes, and provided 300 water stations for animals across the country.
