TV Fire & Rescue Slashed Tires
Just read a news story on FOX12....
"Four Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue firefighters returned to Station 66 to find their tires slashed.
TVF&R said firefighters were out responding to emergencies Thursday afternoon and returned to the station at 13900 Southwest Brockman Road to find tires on their personal vehicles slashed."
These guys put their lives on the line daily and some low life slashed the tires on their personal vehicles while they were out on a call! Not to mention, 2 weeks before Christmas is about the worst timing to have an expense like this pop up. Let's help out our first responders and get them some new tires as a "Thank You" from our community!
As a note, there are 2 gofundme campaigns set up for this cause. We have both been in contact with TVF&R and the goals for each campaign are set for $3000. I estimated each set including installation to be approximately $1500. Any funds left over after the 4 sets of tires are purchased will be donated to a charity of the firefighters choice.
I have set the beneficiary of the campaign as Company Officer Genaro Esparza. I will not be withdrawing the funds and will be happy to provide any information to help verify this.
Thanks!
