Hi my name is Courtney,
and this is my son Phoenix.

I know every mum can say their children are the apple of their eyes, but my son has a true heart of gold, and anyone whom meets him knows he just has a personality that draws people in, they want to be his friend because he will always find the good in people and any situation. which makes me the most proud mum in the world.

Being  a sole parent to phoenix since birth, I have done what I can to provide him with the things he needs, a good education, being involved in sporting clubs and communities, trying new things, teaching the right morals and kindness in this what can be a hard universe, but always teaching him to give and help people in need, because there is always someone out there that can have it worse than us.

Since he was born I have never asked for much, but this once im asking for your help in making my sons dreams come true.

As a mum all you ever want in life is for your kids to be happy, healthy, grounded children, and able to create loving childhood memories for them, to teach them to have a drive and believe in what their life calling is in this world. But the one stress you can live with is can you provide this support and commitment financially to make these dreams a reality for them?

This is where im asking please for a little help in making this a reality for my son to persue his life long goal and to show him anything is possible if you work hard to achieve it, just like I tell him everyday, plus to believe there is good in this universe through the love of humanity.

Phoenix  will lace up his Boots for Australia when he takes to the field in Torino, Italy for the Juventus Academy World Cup this June.

He will be in soccer’s Mecca when he plays for the Juventus Academy’s West Australian team, which he made the cut for after a grueling selection process, and I couldnt be anymore proud.

Following a set of successful tryouts and some rigorous training regimes, Phoenix was overjoyed to learn he had been selected to play on the world stage in Italy.

The trip will see Phoenix pitted against some of the world’s best up and coming talents, with every player aligned to Italian football giant Juventus FC’s academy.

It’s an enormous competition, but almost 30 hours of training a week up in perth has my starry-eyed boy in good stead.

After having spent time at both Mandurah and Rockingham, Phoenix now plays his local grade soccer with Fremantle City Football Club, where he tests himself against older opponents.

He also attends South Coast Baptist College in Waikiki on a fully-fledged scholarship to the elite soccer school.

The overall workload has him training in Perth six days a week, while playing for Fremantle City on Sundays.
But when you ask him if there’s anything he enjoys more than playing soccer, Phoenix’s answer was a simple “nah”.

Phoenix and I are so rapt he made the team and its an honour for him to wear the green and gold.

Following his trip to Italy in June, Phoenix will be on a plane once again in December, bound for England where he has been asked to tour the facilities of several Premier League clubs through a camp organised by Pro Football Training.

There he will be put through his paces by Premier League powerhouses like Chelsea and Tottenham, Manchester City, putting him a step closer to his dream of one day playing in the competition himself.

This is such a huge opportunity for him, and the first steps to help him towards his dreams.

My goal as his mum is to support and guide him in his goals and passion, even if that means travelling 70kms to and from each way taking him to training 6 days a week every day of the year and doing my best to finacially support this as I know can be hard for everyone.
But coming up with the money atm is claiming extremely hard to support all my children family and household so any little bit of help would be so so much appreciated.

Last year phoenix recieved a scholarship for football/soccer at an elite school one which I couldnt possibly dream of sending him without the scholarship.
This was amazing for him to be selected as he can now do the things he loves the most everyday, learning and football.

To top this all off his coaches at school ask him to play up a grade in the state tournaments and comps for school because his passion in this sport shines through his abilities. And Scouts are very keen and excited for his future.

Since all this there has been many opportunities coming up by elite coaches and important people throughout the football scene who believe phoenix has what it takes to make it, both physically, and menatally in his positive, kind heart, mindset and abilities of a Left Footer.

In saying this these opportunities are being selected to play at the Juventus Junior World Cup in Italy, and a tour to England to train and play with some of the best premier league clubs all this year in 2018.

But this all comes at a cost like anything.
I will do all i can to get him there if that means getting rid of things I no longer need, saving every penny I possibly can, and doing as many fundrasisers, sausage sizzles, selling chocolates as I can. I will give it all I've got.

Phoenix too is working hard, at putting away money for these trips, he has been washing neighbours cars, saving his pocket money, and only asking for money for his birthday and christmas to all be put towards these trips to help him in his passion.

I have never pushed phoenix this way being from a family driven by AFL, Phoenix made this choice to persue football at the age of 4 all on his own terms and to this day he is highly motivated and driven by this sport so much
to the point he gets up every morning at 5:30am to go for a run before early morning training at 7am or school, which there he trains too.

He was born gifted to this sport so it is easy for him to be so committed  and makes me so proud of his dedication, love, commitment and abilities towards this.

Thankyou for taking the time to read a little about my son and his journey so far, I wanted to give you an
insight of this amazing little boy of mine and would love to keep you apart of this journey and his future.

We appreciate any kind of donation towards this, big or small it all helps and makes a huge difference.
We cant thank you enough for your kind and generous donations to help make this happen and we are truly grateful for any help or wishes .

I am so excited to make this opportunity a reality for him and he promises to keep up with the hard work and dedication to make this a life long experience and success, and continue to grow.

From the bottom of our hearts
Thank You

Phoenix & Courtney
