VESSELS - Sci-fi Mystery Short Film

A kidnapped research participant must restore her memories and escape from
her captor before her missing daughter is harmed.

Toni, late-twenties, wakes in an abandoned warehouse after taking part in a research experiment. She finds herself under the watchful eye of Lydia, mid-
thirties. Toni is informed that her five-year-old daughter is missing, but she has no recollection of ever having a child. Lydia keeps Toni locked up against her will,
as she struggles through migraines, trying to repair her lost memories. Toni
violently injures Lydia and escapes captivity. In doing so, she learns that her new
reality is far more complicated than she first thought.

Griffith Film School presents the Vessels graduate film, a dystopian look into the future of AI and technology's ties to the human condition. We're looking to raise additional funds for the short's festival route and to cover some costs of production.
