Sax-Boy to Wellington

To fellow A-League and Wellington fans,

When Wellington moved to Wollongong for the COVID season I decided to get behind the team and support the club.

After a few matched I was disheartened by the lack of atmosphere so decided to bring my saxophone and a few of the Wollongong Wolves fans to sing along with me.
This quickly evolved with Mexican and Israeli supporters also getting behind the team here in Wollongong.

With the announcement of home games back in New Zealand and the surrounding hype I spoke to a few Wellington fans who loved the idea of "Sax-Boy" making the trip across the ditch and supporting the team with a full crowd.

I was slightly uncomfortable with the idea of asking people for money but given the lack of music gigs in COVID for a uni musician like myself it is the only option for me to support the Phoenix in the mighty cake tin.
