It has been an exhausting and painful journey for all involved, in particular, Roland's husband Rob, and her 2 beautiful children, Xavier and Eva. Roland's parents have moved in to assist with the daily routines of running a household and her 3 sisters, Kim, Therese and Lisa have had to rearrange their lives and help in every way they can. Sue and I have also been deeply affected by this tragedy. We have known Roland for 36 years (since the age of 7). We are not friends......we are sisters! It is devastating to watch her family suffer and want to help in any way possible.
Roland is the most energetic, hilarious, talented, loud and LOVING person you will ever meet! She was always the life of the party! She would walk into a room, meet someone only once, and she would have an immediate impact. Not only is she an amazing dressmaker, she is an outstanding cook and baker. There isn't anything she couldn't do. Earlier this year, Roland and her dad were starting a food truck business. This food truck was finally ready to go and then COVID hit. This put a delay in their plans. The food truck still sits in her driveway, as a constant reminder of this tragedy.
We are asking for donations, any amount will be greatly appreciated. Roland's road to recovery will be a very long journey for not only Roland, but also for her family. Certain equipment and other expenses will be extremely costly. If you could find it in your hearts to donate, please do so.
Thank you in advance. God bless.
