**SHOUT a MEAL for a healthcare worker and support a local Sydney business**
Every day of the coronavirus crisis, healthcare workers put their lives at risk to help those of us in need. The risk faced by nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals is real and profound, not to mention the huge personal sacrifices they are making.
With their focus on patients and the long hours they're working, too many healthcare workers are literally too exhausted to cook, and those who try are faced with empty supermarket shelves by the time their shift finishes.
This is where we come in.
DELICIOUS, nourishing meals freshly made each day and delivered to healthcare workers.
**** HOW IT WORKS ****
100% of proceeds raised go to local restaurants and catering companies to prepare meals for Sydney healthcare workers in the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis. No administrative or overhead costs will be withdrawn, these will be at my own cost.
Meals are pre-approved by hospitals for food safety and handling requirements.
Each meal is freshly made by qualified chefs and other professional food production companies, such as bakeries and catering companies. Meals are well-rounded, nutritious but above all, DELICIOUS.
Because it’s the least they deserve.
**** WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL DO ****
Show your appreciation - shout a much needed meal or treat for a healthcare worker!
· $10 buys a meal for 1 healthcare worker
· $50 buys a meal for 5 healthcare workers
· $100 provides meals for a team of 10 workers
· $500 will be dinner for a small emergency department
· $2,000 provides meals for a small COVID Ward for a week
· Only have $5? Every cent helps – this will provide a much welcome nourishing morning tea for a healthcare worker!
**** WHAT IS OUR GOAL? ****
Goal 1: To raise $210,000 in order to deliver 500 meals every day for 6 weeks to Sydney healthcare workers most in need of nourishing, convenient meals.
$10 meals x 500 x 7 days x 6 weeks = $210,000 Goal
Goal 2: To increase this as demand requires, for as long as this crisis continues, funds permitting.

**** WHO’S MAKING THIS HAPPEN?? ****
Hi, I’m Nagi Maehashi, the voice, cook, photographer and eater behind RecipeTin Eats , a food blog based in Mona Vale, Sydney.
