Help Vietnam Vet Rebuild His Life - Wooroloo Fire

On the 1st February 2021 devastatingly our 73 year old Dad and Vietnam Veteran, Wally Kleszcz, lost his home in the Gidgegannup bushfires.

Luckily he chose to evacuate safely, grabbing only his medication, a change of clothes and one of his cars- and is currently staying with family. Some items lost are irreplaceable like his late wife’s ashes, family photos and war medals.

Since leaving he has not had access to this property but he has been advised (and we now have photo evidence) that he has lost absolutely everything... His home, car, sheds, his collection of hot rods and all of his memorabilia and possessions.

This is so devastating for our father, having to rebuild his life when he should be enjoying the rest of his days tinkering with his hot rods and enjoying retirement.

We have been overwhelmed with support from family and friends offering assistance and asking how they can help, hence this page...

Please support him to help him get back on his feet again.

Thank you,
Tara, Renee and Travis Kleszcz and families.
