Help the Taylors have a functioning home

This family have been given many obstacles in life but they do face everyday bravely.
They live by the thoughts that they have each other and cherish every moment they have together.
They are an amazing family that don’t ask for anything but the time has come that they need extra help.
-Trevor 63 Husband, father and pop has been full time carer for his sons the past 7 years now has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, stage 4 Gliomatosis in December 2020 and given only months to live.
-Lorraine 53 Wife, mother, nan has had to resign from work to care for Trev and their sons.
-Aaron married with two daughters.
-Billy 28 lost his leg in a work accident in 2015.
-Caleb 24 Diagnosed with Friedreich Ataxia in 2012 and now confined to a wheel chair but smiles every day.
-Dempsey 21 Diagnosed with Friedreich Ataxia in 2016 and his body function is deteriorating but he tries to stay independent as much as he can.
FA is a debilitating, life shortening, degenerative neuromuscular disorder which leads to loss of muscle coordination, fatigue, vision impairment, hearing loss and slurred speech, scolosis, diabetes and serious heart conditions.
They currently all still live in their home in Corio Geelong which doesn’t accommodate their needs and to move is not an option.
The kitchen is a galley and is too difficult for wheelchairs, there is only one bathroom which took 3 years to get funding for and is also difficult to navigate to get outside easily so some renovations to make the kitchen a bigger, more open room with easier access to go out to the backyard would be life changing for everyone to be as independent as they can be.
Finances and Time is not on their side to deal with red tape at the moment for government funding for these projects, if ever.
Any financial donations or even trades when the time is ready for renovations would be so greatly appreciated with the hope to be able to make the family as comfortable as soon as possible for the hard days, weeks, years to come.

There will also be a Poker run held by K.W Truck, Car and bike club (Brett Greaves memorial)on Saturday 13th March 2021 starting from the Royal Mail Hotel in Whittlesea 8am $20 heading to Murchison East Hotel where there will be live music etc to also help raise money for the Taylor family and an opportunity to meet them in person.
The club and friends do an amazing job of it all so please join us if you can as it is a fun day.
Brett passed away in 2017 from a motorbike accident and his brother sadly shares a terrible similar FA disorder. A heartbreaking decision was made for him to have to live in an aged care facility for years in his 30’s as his care was too high and his home was not suitable either and no other facilities were available at the time so if we can all keep Caleb and Dempsey home for as long as possible would be amazing.

Thankyou from the bottom of ourhearts for this beautiful family!
