Graeme Blair Memorial Fund for ALMS, Zambia

To commemorate the first anniversary of Graeme Blair’s death on October 26, a group has been formed to celebrate his life through an appeal to build a classroom complex at the ALMS school in Zambia.  Arising Life Ministeries (ALMS) is a community school for vulnerable children. Both Graeme and Merryl Blair have been active supporters of the work of this school since their first trip to Zambia over 10 years ago.

Currently the ALMS school is small and working at capacity and therefore needs  new school buildings which will create more space for social distancing due to COVID-19 and allow more enrolments. The new classroom complex is vital to provide help to vulnerable children within the community. ALMS will continue to be provide free education inclusive of all educational materials (books, shoes, uniforms), meals and recreational activities.

The funding target is AUS $100,000, (USD 70,000), to be raised through various means. Through GoFundMe we are hoping to raise AUS $5,000 or more. Your donation to this great cause is appreciated.
