Falling in Slow Motion

Falling in Slow Motion is a romantic comedy that shows authenticity in its narrative. It features the harsh reality of living and battling a chronic illness while providing an insight on finding love and acceptance through a unique and fresh perspective.  It’s a story that will make you laugh, cry, fall in love, and will resonate with audiences for years to come.

The film is a fictional story based on my real life experiences with a chronic illness. I have lived with Rheumatoid Arthritis for over fourteen years now and have always found a sense of belonging, happiness and hope while writing and creating.

My goal for this film is to not only help people living with chronic illness and disabilities see themselves represented on screen,  but to create awareness for these conditions and what it's like to live with them or love someone that does.

In times like these, I believe it is more important than ever to come together to create content and share messages of love, laughter and hope with the world.

We have already raised a large portion of our budget through a grant with RADF - Ipswich City Council and Arts Queensland as well as personal donations and In-Kind Support.  With this money we are able to create a Proof of Concept Trailer and Scenes to accompany our Pitch Package for Sales and Distribution.  But, we still need a little help to reach our target budget. Your kind contributions will go towards paying our cast and crew, location and equipment hire, props and wardrobe as well as travel and catering expenses.

It's hard to ask people for money during these times, and we understand that not everyone will be in a position to contribute financially.

Any donation you can spare will be greatly appreciated, no matter how small. If you can't donate at this time, that's okay too. You can help us reach our goal by sharing our campaign with your family and friends  and helping us to spread the word about our project.

In exchange for your generous donation we have some rewards to offer you.

$1, $2, $5 - We will give you a personal shout out on our social media pages and your name will appear in the 'Special Thanks' section of our end credits.
