Dynamic Duo heads to 2020 Dance World Cup ITALY

Galactic Dance Dynamic Duo Emmasyn & Sienna  have been training as a duo for just over 18 mths.

The girls training consists of close to 25 hours of    class per week. Throughout this weekly regime        they frequent classes in the styles of Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Acrobatics,       Musical Theatre and Breakdance, among other       choreography rehearsals for two troupes and solo competitions.  To say Emmasyn & Sienna love to     dance would be an understatement; it is their         whole world. They eat, sleep and breathe dance      and wouldn’t have it any other way

Recently the girls travelled to Tweed Heads on the Gold Coast to compete their duos at Hollywood    Bound Nationals Competition. Here, they vied for the opportunity to compete at the Dance World    Cup in Rome, Italy later this year. A goal they set.  with their teacher and mentor Andrew Micallef .

With four duo routines in the styles of Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Contemporary, choreographed             Galactic Dance Co-Director Andrew Micallef, both Emmasyn and Sienna  danced their hearts out          among so many other hopeful dancers.  In such a     tough section, all four routines scored high enough to qualify for Team Australia at the Dance World  Cup in June/July.

Here, they will have the amazing opportunity to     compete against the world’s best young dancers in such an incredible setting. Following this                     competition, they will also be participating in the World Dance Movement in Bari, Southern Italy     where they will dance in workshops hosted by the world’s best teachers and choreographers.

For two twelve year olds this is an opportunity of alifetime and and something they will treasure            forever.
