Our mission at Black Thumb Farm is to fight food injustice by empowering young people with the skills and knowledge needed to take back their health. Our program will teach young people-with a focus on BIPOC- to cultivate and connect with the land, as well as offer real world life skills trainings. We will offer workshops and trainings to our local community, as well as resources needed to grow healthy, fresh foods.
We are raising funds to cover our start-up costs, including our federal and state incorporations, our 501(c)(3) status, insurances, materials to get our garden growing, and more! We hope to begin our program this October! With these funds, we will be able to cover our start up costs and be ready to begin our program!
Please help us reach our goal so we can get growing!
