Our American Staffy, Caesar, was tragically run over by a 2 tonne ute this week.
He is currently dependant on oxygen. Our beautiful boy is in desperate need of medical attention, as he has fractured both his shoulder blades.
His left side has also shattered his ball and socket joint, sadly meaning, he will need surgery to place a plate and screws to hold it together -
for him to be able to walk again.
Since the accident, Caesar’s medical bills have come to $7,600 and his surgery this week will be another $6,000.
This does not include treatment, rehab & other additional vet fees which may cost up to $10,000.
He is currently staying at Veterinary Referral Hospital and under constant care from the nurses.
His surgeon tells us he has a great chance in recovering and running again but - we have a long way to go.
We are absolutely heartbroken and just want to see our boy get a fighting chance to live, come home with us and walk again.
