100kms to take on Domestic and Family Violence

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of CORE Community Services Limited and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Fairfield LGA has one of the highest reporting incidents of Domestic and Family Violence. Fairfield Police state 60% of their reported cases involve domestic and family violence. There is a high demand in accessing Domestic Violence services however there are limited resources available to the local community. Core Community Services is one of the leading domestic violence services available in Fairfield Local Government Area. During the last year, CORE's DV Support Service had quadrupled its access, with a large number of victims presenting as homeless with young children. CORE's Domestic Violence Services range of services including, crisis support, case management and brokerage assistance; however the availability of resources does not cover a fraction of what the community needs.
This year I am running the Ultra Trail Australia 100km race to raise awareness and funds for the growing need for Domestic and Family Violence services. It will take a community to address the DFV crisis with every bit of help counts.
